SWEET SUMMER

Here's a card I have made with the sweet summer stamp set and some of the tiny 2mm pearls ( my current favourite accessory ) . It was really eay to make and will soon be making it's way to a friend of mine who is having a bit of a hard time at the moment.

What do you think ?

Anyway the plan is to have a productive craft weekend so there might be some more posts .... but I wouldn't hold your breath !

Second time lucky

Ok so I had a wonderful time at convention but discovered another ( much more sucessful!) demo was already using a very similar blog name. Having not really found another name I like yet I'm going to make an effort to continue using this one and see how it goes ! So here is take two at being a proper blogger !

Busy busy busy

Well the last weeks or so has been very busy as I have been getting ready for convention , so far I have made over 190 swaps , 10 packets of card candy and 8 gift swap items !

As I don't have a craft room I have been doing this in the lounge , kitchen and dining room and the end result is a LOT of mess , particularly on the glitter front .... it seems to be everywhere !!

Need to go and get packed now as tomorrow I get on a train for convention how exciting !! Only another day and then I can show you some pictures of all my lovely swaps .

My Very First Post

So I've had this blog thingy all lined up for ages and never really got around to posting anything. It's my 'slightly before new year' resolution to remedy this and i very much intend on being a good blogger .... we'll see .

The last couple of weeks have been very exciting. For one i started a new job which is Monday to Friday giving me weekends off to go and play Flyball with my dog Penny and gives me more time to craft ! Wahooo !

I also spent a few happy hours on Saturday at my upline Amanda's house where we did a huge product share of lots of the lovely new things in the Stampin' Up! Catalogue . Did i mention the catalogue yet ? I will hopefully be putting a link on as soon as i can figure out how and then you can drool all of your computer and the loveliness of the new catalogue . It really is divine ( and it's even better in the flesh !) I will post some pictures of the inspiration book I am currently creating as soon as it's done but for now i'll leave you with a picture of the swap i made for team training. It uses the yummy pumpkin pie and gorgeous melon mambo with some of our new DSP and new rhinestones ooooooooo . Take a look ...



The colours are much more vivid in real life and it also uses the ever so fabulous shimmery paper of which i have already used a whole packet ! ooops must get some more !
